Riding Lesson Information
Riding lesson days: Tuesday – Sunday

Every Rider must fully complete a Rider Registration Form before mounting. This can be completed simply and quickly at reception before the first Lesson can take place.

All lessons must be booked in advance.

The minimum age for a lesson is 5.

Boots and a hat are supplied free of charge.

Our prices range from £10 [children] and £15 [adult] for a half hour group lesson. You can buy a Prepaid Course of 5 or 10 lessons and save money.
We also hold Private Lessons which are more expensive. However, the times are more flexible and may prove more convenient. The cost of these range from £30 [children] and £40 [adult]. Again there are savings to be made for a Prepaid Course.

Come along any Saturday or Sunday between 1.00 pm and 3.00 pm for a pony ride which only cost £1 per lap of the school.
The minimum age for pony rides is 3.
You may have as many laps as you wish so this is a good way of finding out if you would like to have a full lesson.

Cancellation Policy

We require 48 hours notice if you wish to cancel your lesson for any reason. Cancellation will only be accepted in writing i.e. via text or email. Verbal cancellations will be invalid whatever the circumstances.

The telephone number for texts is 07944 727336. The email address is riding.school@btconnect.com .

Failure to cancel in good time will mean that the full lesson fee is due before you can ride again.

If the reason for your cancellation could not have been anticipated you will have the option to reschedule for an alternative lesson to be taken within 7 days of the cancelled lesson – or later if approved by Management.

Please ensure that you arrive at least 10 minutes before your ride time to enable yourself enough time to put on your hat, boots and other protective clothing. Late arrival is both disruptive and expensive – You will still have to pay the Full Fee but may not be able to join the ride immediately and may have to wait until it is safe to do so.

Failure to attend your reserved lesson regularly [ by this we mean attendance must be at least 3 out of 4 lessons ] will mean that we shall offer your time-slot to another rider who is waiting to join. This will mean you will have to call to see if there is availability each week due to cancellations.

When you complete your Registration Form you will be asked to initial an Acknowledgement that you have received and understand the above.
